Can foreign citizens be sued in US courts?

As a blogger, I've been curious about whether foreign citizens can be sued in US courts. After some research, I found out that it is indeed possible under certain circumstances. The Alien Tort Statute and the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act are two laws that allow US courts to hear cases against foreign citizens. However, the plaintiff must establish jurisdiction and the case must involve a violation of international law or a treaty to which the US is a party. It's fascinating to learn that our legal system has provisions in place to address disputes involving foreign citizens.
