TOUGH at the TOP
As we start the second leg of the SCL, an intriguing battle appears to be developing amongs a group of seven clubs, separated as they are by just six points.
Just where does one look for that essential ingrediant that separates the 'men from the boys' or in this case 'man'.
Would it be a freescoring team like say Chichester City / Pagham, or perhaps a tighter defensive unit like say Eastbourne Town / Peacehaven & Telscombe ( both previous escapees ).
Home advantage can be a big advantage, this then brings in Chichester City again, whom at present have played four games less at home as against 'aways', with this in mind it would appear to be doing Haywards Heath ( having a bit of a wobble ) no favours, as they would have to play three away games to catch up with their 'homes'
That now leaves us with two 'dark horses' namely Horsham YMCA ( on a roll ) and Three Bridges ( been their done it ) the latter appearing to be making noises at the Jubilee, in strengthening ready for the 'big push' in the new year, struggled a bit this half of the season just gone, but still very much in contention!
Personal Choice......I like a flutter on an outsider!
