Whose up for the Silverware?

Postby Mike May » Fri Feb 09 2018, 14:55

The Southern Combination Grand National, now just over halfway round the course, is
settling into an interesting finish, with new leaders YM hitting the front, but with still 12
'fences' to clear, taking the lead over a possible tiring Haywards Heath whom still have
14 to clear themselves, not helped by a riderless Crawley Down Gatwick running loose,
tho out of contention themselves, but always a possible hindrance along the way to the
main contenders.

Trailing behind the Heath we have the triumvirate of Chichester City, Eastbourne Town
and Three Bridges with all three abreast, but with 15 to clear, whilst tucked behind this
threesome we have the heavily backed Pagham also with 15 but with a potentially
explosive finish up front over the final fences, of the others only Saltdean tho they have
yet to show more consistency in making their mark in the big time.

Bookies starting to lean toward the threesome of YM, TB, and Pagham over the now
heavy going, but getting firmer toward the latter stages!.
