Horsham v Haywards Heath Town

Postby fanbase » Tue Aug 28 2018, 18:24

Haywards Heath Town's visit to Lancing to play Horsham in their first Bostik South East Division away game didn't start too well when they found themselves 3-0 down after only 15 minutes. Things picked up 10 minutes later when full back Luc Doherty's cross evaded all and ended up in the back of the net. In the 2nd half the Heath pressed for more goals and were rewarded through goals from Karly Akehurst and Lewis Finney to level the scores at 3-3. A misplaced back pass allowed Horsham to retake the lead until Max Miller equalised again on 75 minutes. There was still time for more drama when Lewis Finney scored his second to give the Heath the points.
