Haywards Heath Town, weakened by injuries, suspension and unavailability, faced the task of taking on a Bracknell Town side that is unbeaten since December 2017, in the FA Trophy. Bracknell took control with a goal after 11 minutes and doubled their lead 15 minutes later. In the 2nd half Bracknell took what they thought was an unassailable 3-0 lead after 57 minutes. The Heath made a change on the hour and that changed the game, with them looking more threatening. They got their reward on 79 minutes when Melford Simpson headed home at the far post. Bracknell looked really uneasy on 84 minutes when Keiran Rowe scored his first goal for the club. Bracknell held on for the remaining time and were glad to hear the final whistle.
