HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS
Whisper it quietly, there is movement at the Haven Centre as the Anvils notched up their fourth consecutive league win of the season that has now propelled them into the 'top six', all this after a largely forgettable first half in which the big boot and over hit passes 'ruled the roost', possible cause could have been the fact of losing the toss and then having to face the 'kop end' earlier than expected.
Come the second half and after possibly some 'home truths' at halftime, certainly got the wheels back on track with passing much more tailored for the occasion, two goals then followed in the last half hour, the Anvils had been so much in command that the Olde English expression of 'not a sniff' for the visitors seemed appropriate, but this is probably unkind to a United side whom tho marooned at the bottom of the table, certainly looked capable of climbing out of the murky depths.
As for the Anvils a fortress at home but a bit 'iffy' on their travels, tho away results however few have shown improvement, and with travel to high flying Chichester City this coming weekend, what better time than to upset the proverbial 'Apple Cart' !!
