TOP SIX NO PROB!
A typical cold damp afternoon greeted the hardy, stoical diehard supporters of both sides, lets face it where else would you find an audience willing to stand outside for two hours in such conditions ( yes perhaps the word shopping might do it ) plus that British 'stiff upper lip' has a lot to answer for.
As for the game, the Anvils are starting to look a useful outfit, as they recorded their third consecutive win plus clean sheet to boot, solid at the back, good engines in midfield, plus a handful upfront if a little profligate at times in converting chances, the signing of ex Loxwood wide man Michael Wood has added pace and goals, as his three goals in three games might suggest, whilst the 'old guard' of Sam Cane and Oli Leslie continue to joust for the 'golden boot'.
To sum up, a fairly even first half, but the second half kicking toward the Kop End bought an overall takeover as the Anvils encamped in the Wands half, with three goals, when in all probabilities it could have been the double the number, could I perhaps suggest that time on the training ground might feature a few 'one on ones' between keeper and forwards, as we know it happens at all levels.
They talk of the 'big six' in the Premiership h'mn just had a look at the SCL 'big six', perhaps it might be the wine, on the otherhand perhaps not!
