I think the team did ok, plenty of room to get better but a win is still a win and it takes us closer to the final.

Lampard is getting closer & closer and Rooney is looking fitter and sharper - a goal for both has to come soon!

Thought Hargreaves did well again, and Beckham finally did what we all know he can do!

Bring on Portugal (if they have any players not suspended).

Costinha & Deco suspended, Figo could be too after headbutting Van Bommel, and Ronaldo is a doubt with injury...

will be tough whatever though, and improvement is needed, but again done enough, which to be fair is good enough. But Portugal is our first real test, apart from Ashley Cole's awesome block in the first half after Terry's uncharacteristic howler we didnt look troubled, and even in that 100 degree weather! which you'd think would better suite Equador, so fair play to the boys.

Rooney that bit fitter too, could be the difference? we seem to be lacking goals, and inspite of his fitness and the heat, he looked sharper and made more intelligent runs in the 2nd half. Lamps needs to sort himself out though, i think he's been crap, and owes a performance, (or 3, hopefully??)

im confident of progression, lets get the f**kers back for Euro 2004!

Did you mean to be sick on the field four times after scoring?

Cameras caught the technicolour yawn beautifully (if that's how you can describe it).

I didn't see David's Technicolor Dream Coat, I saw him spitting a lot, must have been getting a beer when we saw it puddled on the turf - Gutted![/quote]
