'Geoffrey' and Deano both reside on either end of the scale in London nowadays, so it's not that easy Joseph. Perhaps Harringey Borough will be up for a match...

I have had a request from an interested party however and shall look into it.

AFC Worthing would be up for a game, my work said they will be involved in some kind of sponsorship.

Me and a few of the team are regular posters on Nomad, as is our manager.

I know we are no where near as glamorous as Crawley veterans, but it would be a good warm up game to any future matches, as a kind of warm up considering the last game hasnt been for so long!

Just a thought matey

Just jump in and put me right when I'm getting it wrong. The On-Line Nomad team looks like lots of fun, it seems to be wanting to support a given charity/cause and it seems to be struggling to find opposition, despie the new kit.

Couldn't there be an end of season" inter Nomad" game where regular posters compete, raise a few bob for the chosen cause, and then have a few beers? Shirts with "names " on (if Seaford till I die will fit!)

Just a thought, realise you need venues, organsers blah blah but there must be enough people with enough contacts! Could be featured in the Milestone book if not too late?

It hasn't any problem with opponents, it has a problem with those wishing to take control and make it happen from our part. We have a brand new kit (never worn) and everyone thinks that Deano, Dave and Geoff are going to make it happen.

We need people to step forward and make it happen.
