Brighton part company with Adams

Adams has paid the price for a run of poor results
Brighton manager Micky Adams has left the club by mutual consent.

The 47-year-old has been under increasing pressure in recent weeks with the Seagulls languishing in the relegation zone in League One.

Albion chairman Dick Knight told the club's website: "I am very sad, as all Albion fans will be, that things have not worked out."

Dean White and Bob Booker will take charge of the team against Millwall on Saturday and Northampton on Tuesday.

Adams took charge of Brighton for the second time in May 2008, having led the club to the old Third Division title during his first spell in charge from 1999 to 2001.

I believe Dean Wilkins first game last year was Millwall away, won 1-0!
I still wear suspenders underneath my business suit....
