Sooty, you won't lose a good reputation over one match, just as a club shouldn't gain a good reputation over one match. I have only ever heard good things about your teams in the last couple of years. My mantra with problem players is don't turn your back on them until you have given them every chance. I hope the individual involved learns from it and is given another chance if you believe them to be genuinely sorry. If they aren't genuinely sorry, you should be able to suss that out regardless of what they say, then let them go straight away.
