Hunston cc 4 Watersfield 1..... closer game than scoreline suggests..good game in good spirits
the watersfield goalie was superb...1-0 down to watersfield before waking up 2-1 to hunston at half time
pen for 3-1 before the goalie cleared only to strike centre forward to rebound in the net for 4-1 right at the end of full time

Hunston 4-1 Watersfield.

Hunston were good for their win although we conceded some very unfortunate goals through sloppy play which we're disappointed with including an own goal and a very interesting penalty. Hunston were a decent side, the number 9 stood out for me as their best player, a good runner, very direct and sharp. Got no issues with losing but when a player chants 'easy easy' after they score their fourth he's unlikely to make friends over the season. A point was probably there for the taking but wasn't to be and all credit to Hunston. Waterfield will be getting stronger as the season progresses after a difficult start with new managers for both teams.

Lots of mixed results flying about making a very open and interesting league and although the quality of recent seasons may not be there it will be a very entertaining season I think.
