Upper Beeding FC back in the West Sussex Football League

Postby spacey » Tue Jun 20 2006, 14:54

From the SCFL Website...

Going in the opposite direction will be Upper Beeding, who finished botton of Division 3 for the third season in succession.

The opposite direction being the WSFL Premier Divison.
Pre-season is about bullshi!tters, backstabbers and finding out who you can trust!

Who will be joining Beeding in that league and who would be the favourites to win the League

Nothing confirmed yet but league should be this:

1. Upper Beeding
2. Predators
3. Barnham
4. Rogate
5. University College of Chichester
6. Eastergate United
7. Clymping
8. TD Shipley
9. Dorking Wanderers
10. East Dean
11. South Bersted

I would say Upper Beeding or South Bersted would have to be favourites going on league positions last season?

Can't see Beeding finishing higher than mid-table personally unless they have/are bringing some players in?

I think they are having a reshuffle at the club players going in certain directions as well

I think the division will be strong. I can only talk about past season's and my experience. But I expect Barnham to be strong, and I think we will give it a go. We gave South Bersted a good game last season, despite them going on about the pitch and the wind! its the same pitch they use when they have had a fixture pile up in the past! we also beat Loxwood to. so we are looking forward to the new challenge of playing all these good teams in the premier.

Still trying to get some county reserve sides to play us but nobody seems to want to. anybody know of any teams that might want a game?
