Be interesting to see the early naps, even with qualification not settled...

First poll to run for 90 days!

Spain for me, but it wont register my vote, is it working properly or does it not accept votes that are not for England?

Hahaha, I have the same problem, trying to vote for Italia but it doesn't work, don't want to try voting for England to check if it's works, in case I can't go back!!!

Italia to beat England 2-1 in the final.

Sorry lads I'll check out the permissions... obviously screwed up somewhere, unless you both secretly think England are the best team in the world...

Hahaha, 2 votes, none for England, and still England got 100%   Although I think England has the best manager in the World, I give you that....Make sure people can vote for France, also . Hope no one does, and I also hope France get into the same group with Brazil, Argentina and South Africa, therefore the French chances of qualifying become ZERO---Sorry to my French mates, but you don't deserve to be there!

Italia v England for the final, with Italia winning 2-1...Or better, 4-3 on penalties after 33 penalties taken by each side ---Man, aren't we both horrendous at penalties

Think the poll works now? Although I put a 90 day vote limit on this so it won't let you vote anyway! However I think the permissions now allow anyone to add a poll... let me know if I'm wrong.

My head's telling me we're a mile off where you need to be to win the world cup but I've got a sneaky feeling this Capello may be the luckiest man alive, I think we could go on and win it.

Spain or Brazil for me - unless Either Messi, Ronaldo or Rooney can carry their side to win - Messi is different class and is capable of winning it on his own as is Ronaldo and is Rooney carries on like he is then we have a real chance as we do have some great players around him unlike Argentina and Portugal. I dont see a weakness is Brazil or Spain though. 20/1 for that to be the final looks a good bet.

I think we have a real chance. Mostly due to the fact that the usual suspects aren't very strong this year (Brazil and Spain aside, fingers) the others Germany, Portugal, France, Holland, Argentina no where near the sides they used to be and Inter not having an Italian in the starting 11 last night says it all, sorry tony . So it comes down to how well we play against Brazil or Spain for me. Every chance, come on England

Pound for pound, Spain are going to have the best squad and the best individual players with plenty of strength in depth. But the weight of expectation with them having never won the World Cup before and knowing this could be the best chance they have for some time will bring added pressure.

Brazil won the Confeds Cup in South Africa last year and although they have 1 or 2 passengers in their squad and their coach is not very popular in his homeland, they know how to win World Cups outside of Europe. For that reason, they will be my pick. If Argentina had less of a maverick manager than Maradona, I'd put them in with a good chance. They had trouble qualifying but they boast plenty of quality in their forwards in Messi, Aguero, Higuain, Tevez and Milito.

England will have a good tournament and their best sales point is Fabio Capello. I can see them making the semi-finals, but I just feel that England do not keep possession well enough to go all the way. Their best hope is that a couple of the other big teams take each other out before the latter stages.

I agree that Spain are very strong and rightly one of the fancied teams but they injury problems with Xavi & Torres still recovering, Iniesta too. Brazil will always be a favourite, I love the way they play, Argentina regardless of qualification will be strong too, never count out the Germans, although they have some issues with key injuries. England well, read other threads for my opinion, maybe a team from Africa will surprise anyone but Uruguay could be the one that causes a few upsets, Forlan and Suarez up top, so my outside bet is them.
