FA Level 2 Course

Postby crewealexfc » Fri Apr 13 2007, 18:43

I was supposed to be on the Level 2 Course at Holbrook starting on monday, but i've just recieved a letter saying it's been cancelled. At 3 days prior to the stat of the course?

It says the instructor pulled out but i think thats a bit shoddy. They offered a free switch onto another course, but the next two are when im at uni, and the holiday i booked off work next week can't be changed!

Not happy!

Alex,

Now you know why I did my Level 3 in Hampshire. Sussex FA did that to me a couple of times.

There aren't very good at organisation....

If you can, do it with the Hants or Surrey FA, much better organised.

Cheers Steve.

I did my Level 1 in London and it was really good, but wanted to go closer to home. Out of County is definately on the cards now!

ALEX

Your not the only one mate. I found out saturday I spoke to Ashley Slaughter at our game and he couldnt give any details why. Iam going into the F.A later see if i can find out more.

Wanted to have it place for next season but got to wait till mid september.

Not a Good advert for the f.a
Play as high as you can not with your mates. Thats what Sunday footballs for.

Yeh its not good at all. I'm going to have a chat with Ash and see if he can give into me digging lol.

I can't do the ones in September due to uni which is really annoying, so i'm looking out of county like steve suggested.

Slim Shady I trust you because as you know the Latin for To Dare Is To Dare you must be a true Spur like me!!! So just to clarify even if it is so much more hassle in terms of travel time/arrangements you would 100% recommend gaining coaching awards via Surrey or Hampshire as opposed to Sussex?. Just asking as want to do my level 1. Thanks.

Hi FootyInTheHurst.

I did my coaching badges via Sussex FA and had no problems at all. Hayley Tunstall at Sussex FA will help out with any questions and i can only recommend them. Personal circumstance i guess, but for me the locality was important and on the Level 2 its a 6 day introduction to the course, so the closer to home the better, otherwise you would be travelling a fair bit.

Sussex FA doesnt offer the UEFA B/Level 3 so you would then have to look around, but starting at Level 1 - you should have no problems. Have you looked here:
