St Francis.

Congratulations to St Francis on getting their first point of the season at Wick today. Were much the better side in the first half playing some nice football. Came under a fair bit of pressure in the second half but battled on admirably for a well earned point. :D

Amen to that!
Yes well done to St Francis for battling on and not taking the easy way out - all credit to them.
I suspect more points will be coming their way now they have the confidence boost.

St Francis actually got a mention on the Football Ramble podcast in the last few minutes for getting their first point last Monday.

It is the model of plausibility that they will end the season in a more elevated postion than my local team 'East Preston' whose fall from grace has been as spectacular as it has been disappointing.

Yet another point for St Francis Rangers this afternoon drawing 3-3 at Worthing Utd.Jolly well done !

And yet another defeat for my local team East Preston, being the vanquished by 4-0 at Arundel as they continue the 'Franz Klammer' of footballing descents. This defeat was their 32nd of the season and such a fall from grace from those heady days just a short while ago when they comfortably won the league. :goodgrief:
