..................................Robinson.............................

..............Carragher.....Ferdinand......Terry..............

....................................Carrick.............................
Lennon.....Beckham.....................Gerrard.....J Cole

..............................Rooney...................................

......................................Crouch...........................

Obviously this leaves out Lampard and Ashley Cole. But the best players dont always make the best team.
This team gives us balance and pace down both flanks.
Becks plays on the right side of the three midfielders alowing him to get into his crossings positions.
In my opinion, you can not play all your superstars. You have to sacrifice that for the balence of the team. The right blend between attck and defense. Having said that, we still have plenty of match winners in there.
Am i right ? Surley you can see the benifit in this line up.

..Have you got a swedish mate

..could it be that you are related to the svede head England manager

..Dont you want the English team to improve and play like "Argentina"

..Still your right ; " A WINS A WIN "

There's always room for improvment in any team, as you have shown by your truly remarkable appointments to the E.P. management teams.

Good luck for next season in div 1.

yes
your showing thought and imadgination. Although I dont agree with your specific line up.
Your using something Sven hasn't got, PASSION and a will to win.

I don't know what your problem is with Sven, but he is the man in the job, 2 wins out of 2 in the world cup and yet to concede a goal. What more does he have to do. I reckon you applied for the job didn't get it and are sore about it. Get over it and start to support the national side which whether you like it or not includes Sven.

I dont think we are suited to 3 at the back.

This is our best team -

-------------------Robinson-------------------------
Carragher------Terry-----Campbell------A Cole
Beckham------Gerrard----Lampard------J Cole
----------------Owen-----Rooney-----------------

With Crouch and Lennon the players to come on around the 67 mark if things are not going to plan.

I'll have a tenner this is the team (barring injuries and suspension) that Sven picks from the last 16 onwards.

Owen might not be at his sharpest but he is and always will be a natural finisher. Rooney is a superb link and his runs from deep suit Owen.

Also, with no Crouch, we do not resort back to the long ball and by pass the best midfield quartet in the World.

Campbell would be better as a heavy weight boxer, I cant see sven dropping Ferdinand, the others you picked I would go with.

Dean,

You have gone mad ??

I'll have £50 with you this team doesn't start one game for England !!

Neville at right back and Rio for Bruno and I agree, thats the team that will win us the world cup.

Rio is playing brilliantly at the moment, I don't think Sol is quite up to it.

But Carragher for Neville is a good idea, however playing him means that Beckham doesn't get passed to all the time and that may upset our captain.

My team to go all the way to winning the world cup is; and I'm afraid it doesn't include Beckham, Neville or A. Cole.

...................................ROBINSON..................................

.........RIO......................TERRY...................CAMPBELL.....

...................................CARRICK....................................
.LENNON.......GERRARD..................LAMPARD.......J. COLE.

...........................ROONEY.............................................
............................................OWEN................................

Theres no way Sven would dream of doing this, too risky

Why are you dropping Beckham? 2 out of the 3 goals have come from his crosses,

Lennon is great to bring on but not start at the moment, i have no doubt that he will be leading the charge in the next world cup.

Dont think we need to worry too much 2 games 2 wins and no goals against. Performances are not great but like the Brazil coach said as long as we are brilliant in the final thats all that matter
Dream as if you'll live forever; live as if you'll die tomorrow.
