CHARITY MONEY - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

Postby Geoff » Mon Apr 03 2006, 19:15

Hi All

We now have a bank account for which everyone that pledged cheques for the Charity Match in November can pay to.

I apologise for the delay, but when I tried to set up an account, they required a constitution, meeting minutes, Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary, and I wasn't prepared to do all that. Tony Bernard however set up a memorial account.

Those that pledged, the thread is still on here so if you can make your donations, whether it was personal or club we would be very grateful.

If you can make cheques payable to;
STEVE BERNARD FOUNDATION LTD

And send them to;

Geoff Anscombe
c/o East Preston Football Club
Lashmar Road
East Preston,
West Sussex.
BN16 1ES.

I would dearly love to get this all wrapped up by the end of this month latest.

Thanks for the pledges and thanks for being patient.

For Steve (Slim Shady), this is from Tony;
If Steve Barber wants to donate the Real Madrid shirt to us we would be able to auction it at the memorial dinner we are having at Bournemouth FC on May 26th.We have sold out the event 200 tickets,we've got a comedian hosting it and we are auctioning over 15 signed shirt's some of which are match-worn which makes them more sellable.

So please can you reply to this all those that pledged and get the cheques sent.

Once again thank you very much.

Regards
Geoff

Geoff / Deano,

What do you think about the shirt ?

I've been let down by the framing company I had originally got sorted, as they have gone bankrupt. Just got my money back on Friday.

I'm happy to hand the shirt over as long as they can reach a figure that we feel we could get for it on e-bay.

Maybe a high reserve of £400 or a figure like that....or I rush and get it framed this week and we put it on e-bay and if not sold i'll hand it over for their auction.

What do you boys think ?

Steve.

Ok there are some pledges off this link;
http://nomad.sussexscene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=490

Possibly here;
http://nomad.sussexscene.co.uk/viewtopi ... ht=charity

And definitely on here;
http://nomad.sussexscene.co.uk/viewtopi ... ht=charity

Can you please let yourselves be known. Thanks.

Steve (Barber) this function Tony has sounds like a great platform from which to auction this shirt off... it may be easier to do it this way.

Hi Guy's,
With regards to the Real Madrid Shirt,we have just had one donated to us so it would probably be better if Steve/Slim Shady sold it on e-bay.
Once again thank's for all your effort's on our behalf,Tony

I'm pretty disappointed with the feedback, everyone was falling over themselves to pledge a few weeks ago, everyone is ignoring this thread now.

Im sure I gave mine to Dean along with a signed David Beckham picture for the auction. I posted it through his door a couple of days before the game. Dean will be able to confirm.

Cash. It was posted in a white envelope with £25 written on it inside a brown envelope with the Becks picture.
