Watersfield 1-1 Barnham reserves

Very much two points drop from Watersfield. Quite an even first half where neither team really threatened the goal. A couple of headed chances went wide or over from Watersfield from corners. The Barnham backline struggled to deal with the tenacity of our attackers and looked under pressure each time we attacked with a direct approach.

Second half was a much more one sided affair and Watersfield missed three one-on-ones and two other glorious opportunities to go in front. Barnham kept battling and took the lead when a low cross from the left found their striker who pulled off the defender and shinned it in off the post. Fortunate but ball shouldn't of come in and marking should of been better. Watersfield continued to push and it was a ball over the top that Ben Richardson tried his hardest to mess up by rounding the keeper but eventually slotted it in.

Watersfields strongest and most positive performance of the season which should of wielded maximum point. Full credit to the Barnham keeper who was their best performer throughout, also thought the left winger was quite tidy.

hunston 2 v cck fc 3....hunston went 2-0 up after 10 mins then took the foot off the peddle.cck got a penalty just before half time to make it 2-1.(none of the 22 players new what the pen was for) half time 2-1
second half pretty even first ten then cck got the equaliser 2-2, cck"s 3rd goal was stunning ,left foot volley from edge of box into the top corner, thr last 20 mins was played in or around cck"s box but allas no equaliser. mom cck fc goalkeeper great performance. good luck to the brighton lads in the coming rounds. the only down side to the game...the man in the middle
