newtown villa 2-2 hunston cc...a very good game of footie here. villa one nil up at half time. second half 1-1, then 2-1 to villa before hunston drew level. last 10 mins all hunston ,forgot how many times we hit woodwork. but probably a fair result at the end..man in the middle..exellent

Seaford Ressies 0 Lancing United 2

4 in 4 for the Green and Whites and a great way to bounce back after the opening day horror show v Hunston who seem to have gone from strength to strength and look good for a title challenge this season.

Game should have been dead and buried before half time but some decent keeping and missed chances meant Seaford had a lifeline. However, Uniteds back line held firm and Hollick only had 1 real save to make all game long.

3 clean sheets in 4 games and only 1 goal conceeded in 360 minutes of football is certainly a rare occurence for United over recent years. The work over the last 24 months seems to be coming good and the lads have been superb of late.

Good to see new boys Faygate taking the league by storm as well! Its going to be a tight league this season at the top and the bottom!

Also looks promising for the WSFL Rep team too as there are some great players in the league this season, not only in the Prem but also in Div 1 and 2.

COYG's!
Form is temporary, class is permanent...
