Sorry for quoting myself, but after watching a few games over Christmas I would like to swap Foster for Joe Hart, doing very well and think he'll get even better, as long as City don't recall him to sit on the bench.

I reckon we should turn this into a competition, see who gets the most right. We'll need a cut off date though, for the gambles on injuries, lose of form etc. Maybe end of April ?

So what about left back now then? Cole out tilll whenever and Bridge wont go.

Who else is in the frame? Milner has done a sort of job there recently when weve been winning but if Cole does not recover, who can actually play bona fide left back? Milner? Brown? Nicky Shorey?? Ouch, bit of a worry!!

This Terry Bridge thing is going to cost us!!!

Capello will definitely go 3 GK's, here is the line-up I think he WOULD choose with the cover players following:

James - Green - Hart

Johnson - Neville (poss Brown but only through lack of options)
Terry - Upson
Rio - Lescott
A Cole - Baines

Barry - Carrick
Milner - Lennon (poss Wright Phillips)
Lampard - Carrick
Gerrard - J Cole

Rooney - Defoe
Heskey - Crouch

I've got a horrible feeling he might take Walcott but I can't find a place for him, James Milners inclusion is worth his weight in gold as he will cover both full backs and all across the midfiled. Too late for Shawcross - Dawson - Zamora - A Young - Agbonlahor, they've all not been included in enough friendlies.

RIP David Beckham

A very good point, well made! If we could take two it wouldn't be that usless.........

Downing would be the 8th Midfielder.

Adam Johnson is sneaking into my squad now. Probably at the expense of J.Cole if he carries on the way he's going. No Confidence at all against Inter the other day.

I think all you guys that picked Beckham are wrong!!

Intersting that Capello says he wont take anyone who is "not fit"!! Lets hope Rooney doesn't have a slight hammy in May!! So, assuming he will take his main players regardless, and only leave his fringe players behind who are injured? ( Ron Grenwood in 82 took Brooking and Keegan to play in the last game only? (and left behind the true goalscorer of that time Peter Ward!! )

Green (James/Hart)

Johnson/Terry/Rio/A Cole (Warnock/Upson/Richards) (not Brown, please not Brown, Milner can cover)

J Cole/Gerrard/ Lampard/ Walcott(Carrick/Barry/Milner/Wright Phillips)(not Downing, please not Downing)

Rooney/Heskey(Crouch/Defoe/Zamora)
