I heard Materazzi said to ZZ 'help help theres a wasp on my chest' and ZZ replied 'dont worry son ill fix it.

And Rooney said to Carvaliho ' look my foots mended now'.

More suggestions please.

Official FIFA response to the incident:

Materazzi was seen to hold Zidane's shirt on the edge of the penalty box
in extra-time at which point Zidane said

"if you want my shirt so bad you can have it"

Materazzi responded

"I dont want your shirt you m***** f*****. you're a f****** old man"

As they jog away Zidane is seen to laugh at this and it is unclear how
he responded due to him having his back to the TV camera

Materazzi then hit a volley of abuse

"you should've quit 2 years ago, you're a f****** has-been"

"m***** f*****! your mum is a f****** muslim terrorist and you are to,
f*** you old man f*** you"

"old man, this arena is not for you anymore m***** f****. Your sister is
a whore and the whole Italian team has f***** her"

"f*** off you bald c*nt"

Zidane carries on jogging away

"you are only good enough for Tottenham Hotspur" It's at this very
point Zidane turned and head-butted him.

At least there was contact with ZZ's headbutt refreshing change from players falling over when someone calls them a name.

Zizou should be honoured to grace the Spurs shirt if ever such a wonderful opportunity arose!!! Avatar could be changed at any minute!!!

Fair point from Sadfoot, Materazzi went down rightfully not because of feigning injury but because Zidane is the man who nearly killed him!

Materazzi, what a schoolboy error! although some bruised ribs has won them the world cup! But has been? The Penalty said it all!!! The man is a genius on the pitch!!! and a hard bastard off it!

I have heard very strong rumours that Materazzi always planned to get ZZ sent off. He had tried it all game, he tried Nipple Cripples, Racism, familyism but he knew this insult would tip ZZ over the top as it would most men; 'Oi Zidane you look like Jamie Searle(lord Zola)' This is the ultimate insult and only equal to the one thrown at Colin Montegomery when he was about to win the biggest tournament of his life when Materazzi in the crowd shouted 'Oi Monty, you look like Kev Short (fingers)' People should goto prison for insults like these.

You are correct, people do occasionly refer to me as Zidane, however, it's not because I look like him, but because we both have outstanding footballing technique and similar playing styles.

Are you sure? I heard that you were split up after an experiment on twins. One had all the goodness he was sent to France and the other all the crap who was sent to England. They then made a film about it with Danny Di vitoe playing none other than Lord Zola himself. Laughing

haven't trainined anywhere yet Kev, although Trev did give me a call. To be honest so busy at work and with the baby I don't think I would be able to train even if I was playing next year. I will probably end up signing a card for someone and playing if required when i can. I might be having an operation on my knee so a year out should give me time to recover. How is your fitness training going?

Ive cut out mid-week drinking and cut down to two bottles of cider on saturdays and trained twice at Rustington. I am struggling and preferred by non-active lifestyle.
