ANVILS RING THE CHANGES

Suddenly the first rays of summer seemed much closer ( even allowing for the brisk nor / easter that blew thro out ) as the Anvils cast aside the gloom of winter by celebrating their first success of the new year, it wasn't pretty ( wind again ) and perhaps one could be churlish and say the margin of victory could have been more emphatic, but at the end of the day the result justified the means.

Added bonus today was the return of three of the walking wounded plus the introduction of yet another under 21 player, this certainly added more bite and pace to a team that had struggled for this commodity recently, overall it was a fine result to send home the frozen punters huddled together in these rather 'Ice Station Zebra' conditions, back to warmer climes.
