ANVILS SUFFER THE BLUES

A gallant battle by the Anvils at a crowded Hanbury Park was not quite enough to subdue a Heath side whom this season have shown themselves to be light years ahead of the opposition, being hard to dislodge at the back, and fleet of foot upfront, proved to be too much for an Anvil side now returning to full strength but still struggling to get back the consistency of last year.

Two down after 26 mins, a missed penalty that would have halved the deficit was probably the nearest the Anvils got to halting a side if kept together would probably cause mischief in the Premiership next season, whilst for the Anvils ( the best of the rest ) work in progress remains the theme song in a season which has been a success ( in spite of recent results ) when measured against the disasters of the previous two.
