ITALY ? V FRANCE ?

Postby sugar ray » Fri Jul 07 2006, 06:40

Might not go down well with everybody, but I will shouting for the Italians.

Just cant bring myself around liking a French win, the thought of it seems to make me feel sick.

Maybe it's an "Arsenal thing", or, I just had a @!#& holiday there.

It's not rational, "I KNOW". but -- "YEH", but -- "KNOW" , but -- "YEH", but

Lets face it, no one wants either side to win!

I am supporting some positive drugs tests on Barthez, Zidane, Henry, Totti, Zambrotta, Buffon and Lippi (heroin, crack or horse tranquilisers will do), both teams to get kicked out of the tournament with a 12 year ban from ever playing international football again with the world cup being re-played next year with all the same teams (but with 2 new ones instead of the drug abusers)

I know it's a long shot but it COULD happen, so thats what I am supporting!

I'm not sure I can call it "support", but it might be slightly better in my view if France wins (can't believe I'm actually saying that...) I gues it's just because I don't want the Italians winning for the fourth time...

I read a report in the Mirror today that says if the Italians win the World Cup, the new Justice Minister has promised the clubs involved in the match fixing allegations a reprieve from prosecution.

Come on France.
