For a team who pulled out of a Reserve DIvision where the furthest away game was Dorking and majority of games were fairly local, to then join a league where majority of teams are based near the M25 seems a very strange decision!

Totally agree. This league, in my experience, is very well run. It requires a degree of commitment and standards from the players and club.
