Sedlescombe Rangers 3 - 2 Ore Athletic

Ore opened the scoring 20 minutes into the first half when Tony Barnett marked his return to the side by netting his sixth goal of a disjointed season. Despite controlling the game Ore failed to increase their lead until the 6oth minute, when Matt Sellick picked up the ball in his own half and strode forward to hit a rocket from 30 yards out into the top of the Sedlescombe net. Sedlescombe were holding on and Ore should have been able to close out the game, but a defensive mistake gave Sedlescombe a lifeline of a penalty which Rhys Warren duly dispatched, and then a goalkeeping error gave Ryan Edwards an equaliser. Sedlescombe's joy was complete when Alec Hamblin got the winner from a breakaway in the final minute.
