BNE prioduced their best performance of the season so far against rivals Ovingdean at Happy Valley. Man-of-the-match Dean Halton put BNE ahead early on, heading in Chris MacAuleys chipped free-kick. Ronnie Rubidge made it two latching onto Halton's through-ball and firing in from outside the box before skipper Jamie Beven added a third picking up the loose ball after a goalmouth scramble and rifling in from long range.

In the second half BNE continued to cause Ovingdean problems, Chris MacAuley pounced on Jake Burton's lobbed through-ball and rounded the keeper to grab the forth and added his second and BNE's fifth heading in Rubidge's corner. Rubidge completed the scoring with the best goal of the day smashing in Burton's through-ball from outside the area.
