As befits clubs just six miles apart, this was 90 mins of all out endeavour for all players concerned, the homesters though now second in the league after this point will no doubt look back on this as two points dropped, this even after being two goals behind at Half Time
In the Second Half with the Field now kicking toward the 'Plough Inn' end, hopes were high and sure enough they gradually whittled away their opponents lead, no doubt the introduction of Anvil target Ryan Pearson for his first game of the season, certainly gave more impetus to the Fields attack, who duly closed the gap and then went in front with 15 mins remaining, but the 'yellow bellies' refused to lie down and in the gathering gloom smashed home the equaliser to share the spoils after 90+mins FT 3-3.
Although it was a 6.15 pm kick off with just a 5 min break, by the end of the game 8pm it was really black overhead, but credit to all and sundry they did got the game completed.
