With the season a quarter way thro, its looks like Dormansland Rockets after their brief sabbatical away from the dizzy heights of the Mid Sussex League, look to be on their way back judging by their results so far this season.

This could mean that Smallfield runners up by a measly point but a superior goal difference last season ( but lagging behind with their fixtures already ), could face a genuine challenge for the Premiership title next season!

Its quite a juggling act that Smallfield seem to go thro each season, with not only the league but their consistent long runs in the Cups various they enter, i believe they appeared in two finals ( could be more ) last year winning both, thereby making their customary long season even longer, similar to last season with fixtures numerous still outstanding and a limited time span to get them cleared. As the say ' the price of success doesn't get any easier '.
