Missing Stars List

I'm dissapointed to see so many top players not selected for their countries this summer that I would have thought had a lot to offer. The likes of Van Nistelrooy, Adriano, Benzema, Ronaldinho, Cambiasso, Zanetti! You could probably make a pretty competitive first 11 from the absent players! Which players are you dissapointed/surprised havn't made the cut?

I agree.

Some of the names of players left out by their respective countries is incredible. To leave Cambiasso out of the Argie squad is something else. Quite easily a better player than Mascherano. But then who am i to argue with Diego?!

Nasri & Benzema out of France squad also find very surprising. Think they could be embarressed like they were against Senegal in 2002

And i've never known so many players missing out in the lead-up to the tournament. Nani now not going i see.
I guess it gives lesser known players the chance to make a name for themselves
