Is it time to call on the Foreigners?

Now here's an interseting debate.
Before this World cup I was as blinded with Patriotism as the next English man, but having endured our lackluster performances I was wandering if it might be time to call on the Foreigners avaiable to us. For obvious reasons I couldn't help thinking how the creativity and guile of Mikel Arteta would have made a massive difference.
With the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea signing all the best youngsters from abroad at 14,15 and 16 we're going to have a lot young talent who have played 5 years in this Country before they break into the game.
The Germans have Polish and a Ghanian, Portugal have Brazilians and think of the France 98 World cup winning side Desailly Ghanian and the best player in the World ZZ, bet the French didn't care he was Algerian.
We've done it most other sports
Cricket - KP South African
Tennis - Greg Rusedski - Canadian
Boxing - Lennox Lewis Canadian
I'm sure there's many more. Is now the time for the National Football team to jump on board
