I would like to no why is it only professional footballers down to county league that shake hands before a game,you don't see it in mid Sussex football, or Sunday football,so if you want respect why not start with the younger players of 5 years and upwards to shake hands before a game.

County league brought it in this season, county cup games have been doing it for some time.

In my opinion it should be all games, regardless of age, gender etc.

My son plays Under 7s in the Arun & Chichester Youth League and they do it before and after every game.

As far as I know it is a league/FA requirement for their level.
