The atmosphere at the football was fantastic Geoff! Over 70,000 people at the GB women's game against Brazil, most of whom sung the national anthem as one prior to kick-off. No bad language, polite applause for both teams, flags of various nations, a good family atmosphere. The only downside is seeing football like that has somewhat put me off the Sussex County League! I went to a game to day and it was just the opposite, idiotic fans just moaning about everything and anything, officials moaning about regulations (unaware I was within earshot), diving on the pitch and bad language on and off the pitch! Roll on the Paralympics...
